Privacy Policy

What we collect

Salta! collects the minimum data needed to provide the service:

• Account info: Your name and email (via Apple or Google sign-in) to create your account.
• Goals and tasks: The goals, sections, and tasks you create. These are stored on your device and synced to our secure servers (Supabase, hosted in Frankfurt, EU).
• AI conversations: When you talk to Salta, your conversation is sent to AI providers (Anthropic Claude or OpenAI) to generate responses. We store conversation metadata (turn counts, action confirmations) for up to 90 days to improve AI quality. Full conversation history is automatically deleted after 90 days.
• Analytics: Anonymous usage analytics (via PostHog) to understand how features are used. No personal data is included.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data. Ever.
• We don't show ads.
• We don't share your personal information with third parties for marketing.
• We don't track you across other apps or websites.

AI providers

Salta uses Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI (GPT) to power AI conversations. Your messages are sent to these providers to generate responses. Both providers have their own privacy policies and do not use your data to train their models when accessed via API.

Connecting Salta to AI assistants (MCP)

Salta offers an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server so you can connect Salta to AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor. When you authorize a connection, that assistant can read and manage your tasks, goals, sections and saved context — only in your own account, and only with the access you grant.

Connections use OAuth: you sign in and approve access on a Salta consent screen, and you can revoke it anytime in Salta → Settings. Requests your assistant sends are processed by that assistant's provider under their own privacy policy. Salta only stores and serves your tasks and goals as described above, and never sells this data.

Data storage

Your data is stored on Supabase servers in Frankfurt, Germany (EU). Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings screen.

Your rights

You can:

• Access your data (it's all visible in the app)
• Delete your account and all data (Settings → Delete Account)
• Export your data (contact us)

Children

Salta! is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. We'll notify you of significant changes through the app.
